Sometimes we like to make as many messes as possible.

Let me clarify.

DADDY likes to make as many messes as possible.

Like painting.

It doesn't matter that dinner is on the stove, dishes in the sink, laundry pilled high.

He sees differently. He see's the fun.  Not the mess.

And truth is, it buys you about 30 minutes of fun for The Boy and he's recharged after that.

Plus, the sink is really a holding area.  He knows he has to stay seated in the sink.

So it's a win for everyone!
