Memorial Day Weekend

We had a nice laid back weekend.

Cloudy mornings and sunny afternoons.

Lance had to work Saturday but my mom cam and spent the afternoon with us.

Any day we can spend with her is a win.

Sunday we all slept in then went to the mall.

Then sun finally came out & we headed to the lake.

Mexican for supper.

Monday was more of the same!

The little's love the lake.

Easton just wants to step in the water in his Crocs when Lance puts the boat in or takes it out.

And eat snacks.

Emerson is so content.

She gets comfy in my lap or her seat and she's just along for the ride.

Me? Give me sunshine, happy little's & my boo driving the boat and I'm good to go.

Lake Day

Last minute on Sunday we decided to head to the lake.

Easton had a good nap and the sun was shining.

This was THE.FIRST.LAKE.DAY with Easton.

I've been very nervous about the lake and have avoided it at all costs.

But, such as most things I stress over, it was for nothing.

Other than the boat being low on oil and having to go to 2 different gas stations on the lake, it went off without a glitch. 

Thankful for some pictures with my boy.

Easton wasn't too sure about the 'yake'

He kept saying 'I wanna go back to 'partment'.

He's a bit of a nervous nelly at new things.

I can't imagine where he gets that from.

We skied!

Christ won the on the tricks!

This was his last trick of the afternoon.

Lance busted out some moves too.

Me?  Well.  I got up the first try.

And ate it pretty good after that first run, but got back up and did it again.

Up again on the second try and let go {fell, sank?} like you're supposed to. 

I'm still sore.  That worked muscles I haven't worked in a long time. 

We finished the night with LaHacienda.

Anytime I can be outside with my boys, water & sunshine I consider it a great day! 

And to top it off with Mexican, makes it pretty much ideal.
